A born networker, Andrea left the surveys and spreadsheets of her market research consulting gig for the opportunity to work with healthcare organizations and provide strategic direction for their online initiatives. She’s helped clients such as Avera Health and UNC Health Care reach across departmental boundaries and gain buy-in for web initiatives.  An advocate of measurement, she leverages her research skills to create competitive solutions for our clients, ensuring they continue to be leaders in the health space. Andrea holds a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in business from Mt. Mercy University. When she’s not building bridges for clients, she’s busy running everything from 5Ks to marathons.

Anne KaplerAnne Kapler

Anne is an expert writer. She’s skilled at taking complex information and making it understandable. Her knowledge of grammar is impeccable. Her research skills are impressive. As a former journalist, she’s passionate about writing copy that resonates with readers. As a former editor, she’s skilled at improving clarity and readability. As a Senior Web Content Writer and Strategist at Geonetric, Anne combines all these traits to develop content strategies and web copy for hospitals and health systems around the country. This mom of active, twin 6-year-old boys is a former food editor who loves to fill any spare time shopping at the farmers market and checking out new, local culinary options.

Anne OhrtAnne Ohrt

Facility Manager and Event Chairwoman by day – Actress, Music Teacher, and Mom by night. Anne designed 415 12th Ave SE and now manages the building in addition to serving as the committee chair and product owner for Geonetric’s Symposium and also for Operation Overnight an annual event where Geonetric team members work for 24 straight hours to build new website for local non-profits.  In her spare time she is a farmer, Disney and Masterpiece Theatre junkie.

Ben DillonBen Dillon

It’s not just Ben’s sultry radio-voice that makes him the perfect person to be Geonetric’s eHealth Evangelist, although we do believe that increases webinar attendance. It’s the fact that Ben’s a thought leader. He’s constantly researching everything from social media strategies to accountable care organizations and helping our clients determine what it all means to them. In between all of his speaking engagements, Ben finds time to feed his Twitter addiction and play the Big House with the University of Michigan Alumni marching band.

Bill Basler

Former custom painter in a custom van and street rod shop. Ad Person of the Year. Adjunct professor of graphic design. President of a design studio. Yeah, Bill has a pretty impressive background. But what’s even more impressive is his ability to consistently deliver outstanding creative. His team wins awards for design and usability, but more importantly they know how to “wow” our clients with both eye-catching design and jaw-dropping results. This father of six is married to a radio D.J., restores antique boats and is one of only two persons at Geonetric who insist on using a Mac.

Curiosity.  Finding Answers. These are the things that drive Carey as an Account Strategist. And she fills her days thinking of new and exciting ways to propel clients forward through digital strategy. Before stepping into her current role, Carey was a Client Advisor at Geonetric, and once upon a time, a children’s librarian. Outside work, Carey likes spending time with her two ridiculous dogs and one really fluffy cat as well as watching science fiction shows and movies.

Celine Klosterman

Celine is a story teller. Her love of writing and learning enables her to express the stories she hears in a clear, well-written way while helping website visitors meet their goals. Which fits her role of Web Content Writer perfectly. With her content strategy skills and background in journalism, English and psychology, she helps healthcare organizations create and promote findable, readable and informative web content that leads to healthier lives. But there’s more to Celine than just writing. She’s recently started volunteering at the Catherine McAuley Center as an English tutor to female refugees.

David Sturtz

David uses his deep background in design, content strategy and product development to bring vision and innovation to Geonetric’s digital marketing and content practices. He has tackled healthcare digital marketing challenges from all sides, from designing user-friendly information architectures to building content management software that runs websites for hundreds of healthcare brands. He holds a master’s degree in library and information science from Drexel University and a bachelor’s degree in design from the University of Northern Iowa.

Dawn CooperDawn Cooper

Dawn is an expert. A VitalSite expert.  Dawn’s been perfecting VitalSite for more than ten years and is always willing to use her experience to help her team and clients.  Prior to working at Geonetric, Dawn utilized ASP and .NET technologies to create an online tool for updating charge description master systems, enabling quick implementation of changes in billing codes. Dawn holds a bachelor’s degree in both math and computer science from Mount Mercy University here in Cedar Rapids.  When Dawn is not coding, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, attempting Pinterest crafts, couponing and doodling.

Diane BradfordDiane Bradford

Diane’s job is to try to break our software. Sounds odd, right? But as our Senior QA Developer, she works hard to ensure every release of our software is perfect. A key member of the engineering team, Diane writes automated tests and works with product owners and developers to clarify requirements and test new features. This biker and marathoner is credited with raising five children—four of whom are identical quadruplet boys. Three of five kids are out of college with the last two out of the house, so this empty nester has more time to bike and run.

Erin Schroeder

Erin’s an engaging writer. And she’s an experienced teacher. Add in the fact she’s a talented interviewer with a decade of journalism under her belt and she has the perfect skill set for a senior content strategist. Erin loves meeting people and learning about their organizations, which is why she excels at helping clients tell their stories online through intuitive, user-friendly site architecture and engaging copy. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from St. Ambrose University, a master’s degree in professional journalism from the University of Iowa, and a certificate in content strategy from Northwestern University. When she’s not building better user experiences, this Beatlemaniac spends her spare time listening to her vinyl collection, road tripping, cooking, and writing for Iowa City’s arts and culture magazine Little Village.

A challenge, a new problem to solve – Greg is the go to man in the Geonetric engineering department.  Greg has the bragging rights to say that he has been part of every engineering group at Geonetric. Greg brings a huge range of diverse skills to the table and his team in his role as a Senior Software Developer.  He is energized by opportunities to problem solve through new projects, the ability to work on a wide range of project types and the chance to figure out how to do things in new and better ways.  He has most recently been working on Geonetric’s Drupal Modules and Analytics Dashboard.

A born storyteller, Heather shares her creative ideas and love of writing with Geonetric as our senior marketing communications strategist. Through campaign development, content marketing and media relations, Heather helps shape our message in the market with compelling and powerful copy. This seasoned communications professional and award-winning writer has 15 years of experience in both print and digital marketing. She holds a bachelors of business administration in marketing and a bachelors of arts in communications studies from the University of Iowa and has taken graduate level advertising courses at Boston University. Always eager to learn the latest marketing trends, Heather is a co-organizer of a popular Digital Marketing Meetup.

With a background in volunteer recruitment and higher education marketing, she thrives in the marketing world. As a Client Strategist at Geonetric, she spends her days helping our clients use digital marketing to differentiate themselves in their markets. Holly is the go-to person for anything our clients may need, from brainstorming creative ideas to connecting them with the amazing experts Geonetric has to offer. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa, where her studies focused on political processes. When she’s not uncovering marketing opportunities, she’s traveling (her favorite trip abroad was to beautiful Greece!) and sharing photos on Instagram, which is her social media platform for catharsis. She’s also a proud foster mom for rescued animals, and full-time fur-mom to a golden retriever and German shepherd.

With more than 10 years of experience in marketing, engineering and client services at a company that worked exclusively with Fortune 1000 OEM companies, she knows how to identify and prioritize customer needs. And she speaks just enough geek to be accepted by software developers. Skilled at both cross-team communication and agile project management, Jennie leads Geonetric’s engineering team, helping them prioritize, test, document and deliver new features and functionality. When she’s not team building or wireframing, this world traveler can be found planning her next adventure, perfecting her Joong Bong Sul moves, or working on her latest science fiction novel.

When it comes to sorting out website structures and content, Jill brings a practiced eye and an intuitive sense of how an organization’s message can mesh with audience wants and needs. After all, she’s been creating websites since the beginning of Internet time—and she’s been writing and editing even longer than that! With more than 35 years of experience, this media maven has done it all—creative writing, technical writing, copywriting, ghostwriting, video production, Web development—and she’s done it for every medium imaginable. Before Geonetric, Jill owned an integrated marketing and media production company where her clients included medical centers, medical schools, manufacturers, avionics companies and universities.

Joanna uses her love of comic books to inspire her approach to Web writing and digital marketing strategy: The best content is engaging, smart, easy-to-follow and paired with compelling visuals. As part of the digital marketing team at Geonetric, she applies this philosophy to healthcare websites and digital presences every day, helping health systems around the country develop user-focused experiences across their digital ecosystem. Joanna has a bachelor’s degree in English and gender studies from the University of Notre Dame and is living proof that liberal arts grads can find meaningful work outside academia. In her free time, she writes humor essays and holds out hope that someone, one day, will make a good Superman movie.

Don’t let Linda’s green belt in Lean Six Sigma intimidate you. No doubt this driven executive has high standards, but she’s also a people person who values creativity and geeks out over building great teams. It’s this unique combination that makes her the perfect person to lead Geonetric. She shares her passion for organizational design and operational excellence with other companies in the Corridor through mentoring and meet-ups. And in her downtime, Linda enjoys adult literacy tutoring, running with her German Shepherd, Max, singing in a Sweet Adelines chorus, and endless remodeling of her 100-year-old home.

Lindsey SteinkampLindsey Steinkamp

Lindsey strives to help clients achieve their goals by combining her creative expertise with an analytical perspective. As an experienced graphic designer and digital marketer, she’s helped clients such as UNC Health Care, Concord Hospital and St. Vincent’s HealthCare increase their rankings in search and drive traffic to their websites. She acts as a true extension of their marketing teams, whether she’s answering questions and recommending best practices, or designing display ads and analyzing data. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from South Dakota State University. After graduation Lindsay vowed to move to a warmer southern climate. We’re glad she settled at Geonetric.

Liz loves to stay busy. And as an account strategist at Geonetric, her days are filled helping healthcare marketers enhance their digital strategies. An expert with more than 7 years of experience marketing therapy services to patients and physicians, Liz understands the healthcare industry and the importance of using the Web to market to today’s savvy health consumers. An expert account strategist, Liz helps the Geonetric team deliver outstanding marketing campaigns, content development and SEO projects to our clients. This former college dancer holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Central College and is known for her high-energy. From going to farmer’s markets and festivals, to checking out live music and amusement parks, Liz is happiest when her spare time is filled to the brim with fun activities. Don’t ask her to take a relaxing vacation, unless by relaxing you mean eventful. Snorkeling, anyone?

Maggie BlaisdellMaggie Blaisdell

Maggie’s more than just a great content strategist. She brings a strong background in marketing communications and graphic design to her role as both a product owner and content strategist – allowing her to see content as a piece of the bigger picture and how it can support both organization and user goals. Maggie holds a bachelor’s degree from Mount Mercy University in marketing and communications with a minor in art and a focus in graphic design. This ceramic artist and photographer is an active member of the Cedar Rapids Jaycees, an organization that donates its proceeds back into the local community. Maggie’s known for her drastic hair changes, but it’s not a fashion statement. It’s for a cause. Over the last few years she has donated her hair to Beautiful Lengths helping to provide real-hair wigs to women living with cancer.

Matt WingerMatt Winger

Matt is passionate about creating software solutions from the ground up.  As a Senior Software Developer at Geonetric Matt has worked extensively with a variety of software including VitalSite, FormBuilder and Geonetric Account and is currently working on Geonetric’s new Single Sign On.  Matt is driven by a desire to continue learning, researching new technology and working with security integrations between systems.  When Matt is not developing software he enjoys spending time with his wife and four year old son.

Steven is a developer with a mission.  His mission is to make software development move faster by automating away as many distractions as possible so that his team so can spend more time on delivering quality software.  As a Senior Software Developer, Steven enjoys working on client focused projects such as Geonetric Account and Form Builder where he can iterate quickly and focus on client feedback.   When he is not building software solutions, you can find him on his motorcycle traveling the United States on a different type of mission to find the best “hole in the wall” restaurants.
